Trillium

The element is air. Aquarius (January 20th-February 18th) is ruled by Uranus. Sudden changes and sudden delights happen when discovering the plants of Aquarius. The plants grow in unusual places and a bit wonky with strange scents. They grow with realistic intent and originality much like the Trillium displayed here.

Japanese White Pine
The Japanese White Pine is one of the plants connected to Capricorn.
The element is earth. Capricorn (December 22nd - January 19th), is ruled by Saturn, both oversee the natural life cycle of plants. Japanese White Pines are structurally simple with hardy forms living a long time as seen in the image. Plants grow in shade and in extremely dry or severe cold conditions.
